Program ESM 2027

Thursday May 27: early arrivals day

  • Check-in at Hotel De Ruwenberg (click on the link for more Information):
    Ruwenbergstraat 7, 5271 AG Sint Michielsgestel.
  • No ESM program.

Friday 28 May – Day of the official opening – with optional support program

  • All day arrival at Hotel De Ruwenberg
  • Check-in at De Ruwenberg from 15:00.
  • Program for the Early Birds:
    • 11:00: Departure for a ride partly along locations where Van Gogh painted.
    • 12:00: Lunch Bavaria Brewery , Heuvel 5, 5737 BX Lieshout.
    • 13:00: Continued with elective program:
      • Immediately afterwards: visit Bavaria Brewery. After the visit departure at 14:30 to Nuenen for start part 2 of the ride. This part of the program is NOT suitable for people with mobility issues or wheelchair users!
      • Or: short drive (10 km) to Van Gogh Museum Nuenen to be shown around from 13:30. Afterwards with the guide a short walk & nbsp; along locations that Van Gogh has painted along the rectory (where Vincent has lived), past the church and a few more places that he has painted. Departure from museum 15:00 before start part 2 of the ride. More information about Van Gogh in and around Nuenen: The museum is wheelchair accessible. Check this page.
      • 15:00 – 17:00: Route Return Hotel , again with attention to places that Van Gogh painted.
      • Or: from lunch at the brewery directly via the route back to the hotel with time for stops en route.
  • 6:00 pm Official opening ESM 2027 Grote Zaal de Ruwenberg including 2 drinks per person.
  • 7:30 pm Dinner restaurant De Ruwenberg 3 course dinner incl. 2 drinks.

Saturday 29 May: day of rides, boat trip and party night

  • 07:00 – 08:30 Breakfast Restaurant De Ruwenberg.
  • From 08:00 Departure from P-plaats Beautiful drive to Drimmelen St. Michielsgestel – Drimmelen (indication approx. 60 km fastest route).
  • At the latest 11:00 am walk to our boat “De Zilvermeeuw”. There is a large parking lot available from which to walk 350 meters is to the quay.
  • 11:30 am Departure Herring Gull II.
    • Lunch during cruise.
    • Boat trip through De Biesbosch National Park.
  • 2:00 pm End of the boat walk to P-place.
  • 2:30 pm Departure from P-plaats Nice drive to the Ruwenberg Drimmelen – St. Michielsgestel (indication approx. 60 km fastest route).
  • 5:30 pm Cocktail party (covered) Terrace De Ruwenberg including 1 drink (coin).
  • 6:30 pm Dinner restaurant De Ruwenberg Dinner buffet complete (cold-warm dessert) incl. 2 drinks.
  • 20:00 PARTY EVENING GREAT ROOM DE RUWENBERG with live music. Theme “Sixties & Seventies” (the period of the Triumph Stag) incl. 2 drinks.

Sunday May 30: Official last day of the ESM

  • 08:00 – 10:30 am Breakfast / check-out.
  • From 10:00 am Departure from P-place for a nice drive to Fort Zuidelijke Waterlinie St. Michielsgestel – Altena (approx. 50 km fastest route) Arrival.
  • 1:00 pm 1:30 pm Lunch 2:30 pm Closing talks, thanks and presentation ESM 2029.
  • 3:30 pm Official closure ESM 2027.
